Christmas presents to MSH Sponsored Children

Each year MSH has been presenting Christmas gift to all the sponsor children. Continuing this trend MSH, Nepal took took initiative to present Christmas gifts for 2012 and took children from Marybert orphanage to buy warm clothes for winter. MSH provided 30 pairs of jumpers to the children. Some of them also received jeans pant,T-shirt, shoes, bags and more. Our one of the kind hearted sponsor Mr. Peter Goodey donated to buy gifts for the children. We the MSH Nepal team along with all the children like to thank him for his kind present and love.

Donation of new computer set and printer by Today's Youth

On 13th of January 2013 MSH Nepal team along with team from Today's Youth traveled 30km far from Kathmandu city area to one of the village called Bhattedanda. Bhattedanda is one of the most remote village  in Lalitpur district. With 400 houses all together and 4500 people lives in that village. More than 70% of the people are illiterate. Agriculture and cattle farming are their main source of income. In Bhattedanda there is one small school named as Bhattedanda.

MSH Nepal visited Bhattedanda school for the first time in 2009. MSH Nepal found Bhattedanda's school in very poor condition. After the first visit MSH started to supporting the school. After MSH started supporting the school, the school made very tremendous improvement in both in infrastructure and in education. When MSH visited in 2009 there were only 44 children altogether and children used to study in a poorly constructed room. Today the school has built one storied new building and second floor is under construction. The school has 99 children all together .Since Bhattedanda is a remote area where there is no facilities to print, photocopy or scan any documents.They often have to travel back 30 km near the city area. Bhattedanda school's staff requested MSH to donate a computer and printer so that they can print their own document by themselves. They even wants to provide at least basic knowledge to their school's children.

Today's Youth approached MSH in September 2012 to become a charity partner corporate 4A Side Futsal Tournament which was going to be held from 12-14th October 2012. Today's Youth wanted to donate the winning price from the tournament to one of the needy school of Nepal. MSH proposed Today's Youth to donate the priced amount to Bhattedanda. Today's Youth raised about £400 from the musical event. Today's Youth brought computer and printer for the school with that fund.

On 13th of January 2013 the team from Today's Youth and MSH visited the school and donated the computer and printer. The school management team was extremely happy and they promised to take care and make good use of it in the coming near future. Everyone who visited the school feel really proud and glad to make such a great  Nobel cause and wants to continue helping the school in coming near future.

Merry Christmas from Marybert Orphanage

MSH Charity Trip from Kathmandu-Darjeeling

MySmallHelp Nepal organized a trip from Kathmandu - Janakpur - Illam - Darjeeling - Hetauda trip from 9th to 14th December 2012. It was 5 nights and 6 days trip to raise funds for charity. All together 32 people participated in the trip. The main organizer of the trip was Shambhu Nath Shrestha. He very much carefully handle the trip and everyone enjoyed a trip very much. In the whole trip we traveled 2400 kms.  Thank you everyone for their support. 

Looking for a sponsor as she desperately needs help..

Lakpa Lama, 29 years old woman with three children. Eldest one Ashok Lama (14), Ravi Lama(12) and the youngest one Khusbu Lama(7). She is Single mother staying at Jorpati, Kathmandu. She is from village Makwanpur-1, Saraswati Bazar, Tistungpal. 

Her husband used to serve as a Nepal army for several years but about one year ago Lakpa left him and she started staying alone with her three kids. Because of her husband behavior she is unable to stay with him. Instead of helping her to raise their children, he got addicted to alcohol and girls so he sold all property which left the whole family empty hand. Lakpa had no choice but to leave her husband and live alone with her 3 kids.

After separating from her husband she started to sell metal bangle and other accessories. With just handful of metal bangle and accessories she started roaming around Thamel. Thamel is tourist area where she with luck she can find foreign customers. She can hardly make any money as lot of foreigners are not interested in metal bangles. So she can hardly make any money out of it. Sending her children to school is far beyond her reach. She is not even able to fulfill her and children ends meet. 

KHUSBU LAMA
Khusbu Lama is seven year old girl. She is the youngest child of Lakpa Lama. Her mother is not able to send kids to school. Khusbu used to be at home all the time. She is very good looking and charming girl. Like her two brothers she also wants to go school and want to help her mother. She wants to study hard and in future she wants to make her mother a happiest person in the world. She desperately needs your help and support so that she gets the basic human rights that everyone should. Please help her to get her to school.

New First Aid Box Installed at Marybert Orphanage

On 24th November 2012 MySmallHelp donated and installed a First Aid box for the children of Marybert Orphanage. We have also added medical equipment donated by "Friends For Global Change, USA". Now children no longer have to worry when they get sick, wounded any other minor accidents.
