Jess Garvey, 24 years old, from Ireland. Occupational
Therapist, volunteer for one month.
“I
arrived in Ollantaytambo just one week ago, a charming and quaint Peruvian
village in the Sacred Valley. I am staying here for just over a month and I am
already sad at the thoughts of leaving! The volunteer work here is amazing and
extremely rewarding. Every day is so different and in just one short week I
have met so many interesting and inspiring characters. I really enjoy working
with the children, both on the school bus and on an individual level. There is
great support and encouragement given within the organization and the social
house is a really fun place to live, always a friendly face to have a cup of
tea with! I have received nothing but warm welcomes from the people of
Ollantaytambo and would encourage anyone looking for an exciting and fulfilling
volunteer experience to sign up straight away!”

Ollantaytambo, a picturesque village in the heart of the Sacred Valley (near
Machu Picchu) has been amazing. Behind the scene of this tourist village, I was
shocked at the conditions the people of Ollantaytambo survive in. The work of
My Small Help is infinitive. The kindness, generosity and friendliness of My
Small Help has helped to make big differences in the life of those that need

Susmita Kafle is now 8 years old. She
recently completed her grade LKG (Lower Kindergarten) and successfully upgraded
to grade UKG. She is doing good in her studies. According to teacher's view
Susmita is very good in Maths. She also has a best friend and her name is
Melina Kafle.
