SLC APPEARING CHILDREN FROM MY SMALL HELP - 2016 (SARMILA SUNUWAR)

This is Sarmila Sunuwar. In 2004 her father had gone to work in Saudi Arabia as a labour. Sarmila was till very young when her mother ran away with another man leaving her completely alone . There was no one to look after her, so she stayed with her grandparents in her village, Rammechhap. Sarmila's Aunt, who was living in Kathmandu, knew someone working in Marybert School/Orphange at that time and thought it would be perfect home for her. Sarmila was introduced to Marybert School and they welcome her with open arms.
Sarmila is now 17 years old. She is very sociable girl currently living with her Aunt. Her Aunt take cares of her very well. Sadly she has a very troubled family which often hampers her studies. After going throught such a troubled life she is much stronger and wants to achieve something in life so she can live alone and be independent in life.
My Small Help has been supporting Sarmila from 2007. She is in 10th Grade and will be attending for SLC (School Leaving Certificate) Exam which is going to be held around 1st week of April 2016. This is the final year of her schooling.

We would like to wish her all the best for her SLC exam. We will keep supporting her in coming days to peruse her dream.

It is so lovely to read these wonderful stories and see pictures of the children I remember meeting way back in 2007! They're all so grown-up now!
