SLC APPEARING CHILDREN FROM MY SMALL HELP - 2016 (NABINA TULADHAR)

This is Nabina Tuladhar. Nabina's father is in prison, accused and convicted for murdering his wife although he claims that she committed suicide. Nabina also has a brother Kamal, both were then looked after by her grandparents but because of low economic conditions they were brought to Marybert when Nabina was just 10 years old. They lost their land and money defending her father.


Nabina is now 17 years old. She is very sociable girl and active girl. She takes care of her brother well and waiting for her father to be released. My Small Help has been supporting Nabina from 2010. She is in 10th Grade and will be attending for SLC (School Leaving Certificate) Exam which is going to be held around 1st week of April 2016. This is the final year of her schooling.


We would like to wish her all the best for her SLC exam. We will keep supporting her in coming days to peruse her dream.

SLC APPEARING CHILDREN FROM MY SMALL HELP - 2016 (SARMILA SUNUWAR)

This is Sarmila Sunuwar. In 2004 her father had gone to work in Saudi Arabia as a labour. Sarmila was till very young when her mother ran away with another man leaving her completely alone . There was no one to look after her, so she stayed with her grandparents in her village, Rammechhap. Sarmila's Aunt, who was living in Kathmandu, knew someone working in Marybert School/Orphange at that time and thought it would be perfect home for her. Sarmila was introduced to Marybert School and they welcome her with open arms.
Sarmila is now 17 years old. She is very sociable girl currently living with her Aunt. Her Aunt take cares of her very well. Sadly she has a very troubled family which often hampers her studies. After going throught such a troubled life she is much stronger and wants to achieve something in life so she can live alone and be independent in life.
My Small Help has been supporting Sarmila from 2007. She is in 10th Grade and will be attending for SLC (School Leaving Certificate) Exam which is going to be held around 1st week of April 2016. This is the final year of her schooling.

We would like to wish her all the best for her SLC exam. We will keep supporting her in coming days to peruse her dream.

SLC APPEARING CHILDREN FROM MY SMALL HELP - 2016 (SANTAMAN GURUNG)


This is Santaman whose father died when he was young and his disabled mother from cancer. He lived with his Aunt in his village and worked for her until moving to Marybert school where he lives as an orphan. 


Santaman is now 19 years old. He is very responsible, sensitive and caring. He is very much fascinated with machinery items and wants to peruse his career in automotive mechanical engineer. My Small Help has been supporting Santaman from 2007. He is in 10th Grade and will be attending for SLC (School Leaving Certificate) Exam which is going to be held around 1st week of April 2016. This is the final year of his schooling.

Women Entrepreneurship Development Project – Sewing and Tailoring Training

Wish you all a Happy New Year 2016. This is our great pleasure to inform you that ‘Women Entrepreneurship Development Project – Sewing and Tailoring Training’ has been started from the first of January, 2016.

Manju and Pramila just got back from the inauguration program. The project coordinator and trainers are from Tharu Community itself. There are altogether 25 participants. On the inauguration event, representatives from Municipality, Nepal Government were also present to encourage us and appreciate our initiation.
